Meet Billy! We originally connected with Billy's wife, Melissa, on Instagram, about sending her a tie to gift to him for Father's Day. Pretty soon, we realized we wanted to learn more about the man behind the tie. We were delighted to learn that he shares a core belief with the C + L team: that a brilliant look starts with smelling good. Read on to get acquainted with our new friend, Billy.

Tell us a little bit about the story you're writing in your Clifton + Leopold?
I work from home even before COVID-19, so I'm usually dressed down. It felt good to put on clothes and play dress-up for my wife, to see how the new Father's Day tie looked on me. This David tie says to me that it is almost summertime and brighter days are on the horizon.

Tell us, Billy, what makes you feel dapper?
Before anything, smelling good. I choose my scent first.Then jewelry. A nice watch, ring, earrings, and sometimes a necklace. Then, fresh socks with some type of pattern, or no-show socks.
Thank you, Billy! We can certainly agree with you on the importance of getting dressed up sometimes for no reason at all, even if it's just to work from home. We love your fresh, dapper, styling of the David tie (our best seller for a great reason!)
