Everyone, please meet Evan! As a fellow Nashvillian and music educator, Evan is someone who has been in our sphere and someone we’ve known for a number of years.
But like any good friendship Evan continues to wow and amaze us with his zeal for life and his constant desire to make it the best life possible.
We’re here for this!
After running into him at an early summer event, where he was sporting some C+L, we thought it a no brainer to ask him to share a glimpse into what living the Evan Burton life looks like. We were thrilled when he said “yes” . . . even if it took a few more cocktails to get there.
We’re here for this as well!
And with that, we’ll let Evan tell his story because there’s no doubt, he (along with his amazing family) is writing the one he wants to live.

Tell us a little bit about the story you're writing in your Clifton + Leopold:
I am in a new phase of life with my partner, Nathan, and my two sons, Asher and Ellis. I love having the confidence to be well-dressed and to spend time and effort on my look. I’m a music teacher, and my students love seeing what shoes I wear to school or for performances!
I love the C + L:
Felt lapel pins because they give just a subtle touch of whimsy. I want one in every color!
What is currently atop your C + L wishlist?
I am a candle hoarder but have yet to try any of the C+L fragrances. I cannot wait to get one!
It's a Saturday! What are you doing?
Sleeping in, followed by coffee on my balcony overlooking downtown Nashville. Maybe a trip to the farmer’s market and a great book or some piano practice time. Saturday evening might be dinner at Margot Café with Nate and then the symphony or drinks and dancing with friends.
