Ah, back to school. There’s just something magical about this time of year, isn’t there?
Several of our team members were in school in the 80’s, so early Fall always evokes John Hughes-tinged memories of big hair, Jam shorts, and metallics galore...OH, and of course, the music.
Don’t get us wrong - we absolutely love 80’s music. But we didn’t need to create yet another quintessential 80’s playlist that starts with Take on Me and ends with Total Eclipse of the Heart, with Culture Club somewhere in the middle. So we asked a good friend and 80's music connoisseur if they would put together a playlist for us to listen to as we sail into the fall. And they delivered!
So, here’s our Clifton+Leopold style 80’s playlist. Don’t worry, we didn’t skimp on the synthesizer, electric drum pad banging, or screeching horn lines. But hopefully this lineup of 80’s tunes sounds a bit different than what you’re used to. Because, that’s kind of what we’re all about here at C+L, throwing caution to the wind and not fitting into any sort of mold.
And if you ask us, it fits perfectly with the unconventional sort of Back to School we’re all experiencing this year.
