It is our delight to introduce you to our brilliant friend, Ron Snitker! Ron is truly the friend that everybody deserves, but not everybody has. He has been our biggest cheerleader at Clifton+Leopold since day one; actually, since before day one! Ron was recently recognized by Nfocus magazine as a part of their Model Behavior series, for his passionate work with the Nashville LGBT Chamber. We can't think of anyone more deserving of that honor (check out the full feature here.) Keep on reading to meet our friend Ron. We know you'll be better for it.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Name:  Ron Snitker, He/Him
Find them looking dapper in: Nashville, TN
Tell us a little bit about the story you're writing in your Clifton + Leopold?
The story I want to write and share includes changing the “norms” of what is “gender appropriate” with fashion accessories. I’d like to throw caution to the wind and wear a gorgeous scarf around my neck or a pocket square around my wrist. Redefine “age-appropriate” clothing. Move the needle on people’s ideas about fashion and accessories.
Complete this sentence. I love the C + L ____________ because _____________ .
I love the C + L fabrics because of their exquisite quality, lush textures and vivid colors. I dare you to wear C + L and not get a compliment!
What is atop your C + L wishlist?
Don’t make me pick just one. The Thelma bowtie: Japanese silk creating its own destiny. And the Mercury tie: 3.5”-wide Italian silk paying homage to the glam of Studio 54.
It's a Saturday! What are you doing?
During COVID-19, it’s sleeping in with my husband, a home-cooked brunch, working in the yard, enjoying a scenic drive and capping off the day with dinner and drinks at home with friends and neighbors.
Your ultimate dapper icon:
1980s Harrison Ford, Tom Ford, The Rat Pack circa Palm Springs' 1960s Hollywood Heyday
It's quitting time on any given day. What are you sipping on?
Dirty vodka martini up, no vermouth, no olives. They get in the way.
A dance party is not complete without: Don't Stop Me Now - Queen
Tell us, Ron, what makes you feel dapper?
A fresh haircut and a good-fitting, well-accessorized, outfit that makes me feel like I’m “showing up”! And a hint of cologne.

Thank you, Ron. We are so lucky to call you friend, and a very dapper one, at that! Thanks for carrying the banner of Clifton+Leopold wherever you go. And a personal thank you from me, for the lesson in dirty martinis!

You'll definitely want to give Ron a follow on Instagram. His posting puts most millennials to shame! You can keep tabs on the work the Nashville LGBT Chamber is doing as well by following them on Instagram @nashlgbtcc.
